He insists on inviting his long time heterosexual female friend to the evening (who for background happens to be my ex-girlfriend, no bad blood though). Some of the other girls, I.E my girlfriend and other girlfriends of those attending, find this to be totally not fair – as they are also long time friends of his and are excluded from attending. It is true that he is closer to her than them but they insist that it’s either all girls or no girls, as it is not fair to exclude them solely based on sex if he is making this exception. I kind of agree with them because I interpret a “stag party” as a send off and celebration of bachelorhood and skirt-chasing; activities that she does not participate in (she also attended the bride’s bachelorette party two weeks ago). I know he is allowed to celebrate this however he chooses, but I want him to understand that his decision is one the other girls are right to be mad at – am I justified?
